As PRDP has only 2 open weeks so any extra day will only help the film in collecting more.
With a mid-week release now the film has 16 open days instead of only 14 Days.
By releasing the film on Diwali Puja Day they have not only got 1 extra day but also 1 holiday, yes the collections on Diwali show a decline from late afternoon onwards but with a big release even those collections will be higher than a normal day number.
